Oh man, that's pretty scary. Once my mum and I were in the car driving home from grocery shopping, when I heard beeping come from the brake pedal. I looked down to see our home phone sitting there. "What the heck?" I cried, wondering how our phone had ever gotten there. It had been there sitting on the reciever this morning. My mom had no clue either. We were puzzled for a minute, and I reached down and picked up the phone. "777777," it read. I freaked out. We picked it up, and suddenly it rang once. I hung up, and it acted like a normal phone afterward. I think there could have been something interuptting your phone call. Telemarketers, Cell Phones, etc, could have screwed something up pretty bad. I think I would put my money on a Telemarketer, since I have seen them play around with Caller Id, and often when I pick up the phone there is a lot of static. Hope this helped!
