Skyrim: Dragon Armor or Daedric Armor locations?

where can I find dragon armor? Preferably Dragon Plate. I am not talking about smithing it, i read online that it can be found in chests, though extremely rarely. If you dont know where this can be found, where can I find Daedric Armor without smithing it?

There's actually no location for the armour in the game, Its player made.

You need 90 Smiting for Daderic and 100 for Dragon.

Best way to get smiting up to a 100, Is just keep buying Iron Ingots and Leather strips and make Iron Daggers.

I found a dragon plate shield but you need the dragonborn dlc. First you have to find the Haknir's Shoal witch is on the north east map of soulthrine or whatever the new area is called you go there fight the revers open the chest and get the piece of armor In there then you search the reavers and grab the treasure map and it will have the locations of three other armor pieces so you will have four armor pieces then you will have to go to glydenhul barrow right by the area you got your first piece of armor you need an ancient nordic pickaxe to mine out one of the tombs in there and it leads to a passage then you find a room with plenty of piles of coins witch you can pick up and a couple chest and I found a dragonplate shield I'm not sure if it's luck or always there. Tell me if this helped any of you

out of the 1575 chest's i looted i honestly haven't found any dragon or daedric armor in chests in skyrim and i already have more 100+ hrs of gameplay and still havent found any im a lvl 47 i think ur better off just smithing it it really not that hard to increase ur smithing skill all u have to do is make a whole lot of iron daggers you'll rank up pretty quick trust me oh and make sure u have the warrior stone it seems to help alot.

I found a pair of Dragonplate boots of fire abatement in a chest in Roldothor Deep Market but its probably just random I'm lvl 53 and this is the first dragon armor I've found and not made.

Just found dragonscale gauntlets of extreme smithing in rimerock burrow it appears that the chance for dragon armor scales with character lvl like the other types.

I think your sources are wrong, but in any case

High level enemies are your best shot, which requires you to have a high level.

if either can be found in chests they wont be a fixed location, it will be the random items found in chests

Just smith the stuff, 100 smithing is easy, go out and kill every animal that drops hide to make leather and leather strips, and make hide bracers, level 100 in 1.5hr at most, and the armour will be better than anything you find since you will have the level and perks to improve it, same for the weapons

Well i personally think you should smith it because you can make a lot of money, just get your smithing up to 100 (making iron daggers) and that only takes about 40-50 minutes. You make a lot of money smithing too.
