Test prep review books are the best books for most of these standardized test, except for SAT/ACT and maybe TOEFL (never taken it) which have test prep classes for this kind of stuff. Princeton Review, Barron's, Kaplan, and 5 Steps to a 5 (AP only) are the most commonly used review materials. Personally, I use Princeton Review for all my tests and have gotten the following:

    SAT: 1960

    SAT II (Math II): 770

    SAT II (Bio-M): 750

    SAT II (U.S. History): 770

    ACT: 33

    AP Euro: 5

    AP Bio: 5

    AP U.S.: 5

For the SAT, I wholeheartedly recommend Professor Dave's Owner's Manual for the SAT.

My son used it and went up 320 points from the May test to the November test. We bought it on lulu.com and I think you can get it on amazon as well. Great book and comes with a support website for practice questions and other material. Best of luck!
