Is there any other type of lighting that can replace a normal Neon light?
i created this long 24 x 3 feet wall out of plasterboard against another wall making it stand out about 2-3 inches in order to place some sort of lighting from behind from the top and bottom of the plasterboard. checking out the prices of the neon lights, for the quantity i need, it would be too much, so im trying to figure out if theres any other *economical* way to light up the back part of this new wall?? i thought of maybe just placing a bunch of spotlights, but i cant because the space between the two walls is only 2-3 inches....any ideas??
help!!!

It really depends on the light levels you are trying to achieve across the surface area.If you wish a subtle wash or to accentuate key areas where you maybe hanging pictures .?
1.An led strip run along the wall can be fixed running with one colour for high output cool or warm white or you may use an
2.RGB strip with a controller to wash the wall with any colour you choose.
Led strips come in either flexible format or fixed format ie (rigid bar)
3.An led wall washer is another option these have higher output than led strips and come in long thin rectangular format .Again you have the option of a single color or RGB multiple colour format.
4.Led tubes replace fluro tubes .These are more expensive but use half the power and last 3-5 times longer

If possible, then make some more space for the neon light because 2-3 inches is not enough to put a light. Otherwise, you can contact with an LED light manufacturer, he can make a light which will be fit in that space.
