How can I make myself less intelligent?

I'm asking this as a serious question. I do not want to decrease my intelligence permanently just on a temporary basis. I'm asking because I find it near impossible to socialize with people outside of a select few friends I've made over the years that are near, at, and above my own level of intellect. I have trouble with my girlfriend, and now she is insisting that I socialize with her friends which is a task I will find impossible and will go poorly if I do it as I am now. What I'd like it to just knock myself down a bit closer to normal so I can just function with normal people. It's impossible now for me to have a conversation that goes well with an average person unless I either don't talk, or I just nod my head.

First off, what's intelligence got to do with how you make friends? You're basically saying you are too smart for your girlfriends friends. Im intelligent, well i assume that since i am in the highest classes at my school, but i have absolutely no problem hanging around and making friends with the not-very-bright people. But if you are being extremely serious about this, then i advise you to just be yourself. I am not seeing what is keeping you from socializing with a some people.

And if you really want to.lower your intelligence temporarily, then just sit in front of the tv, doing nothing. Or even the computer. Just play games 24/7 heheh. Other than that, i have no idea how to "make yourself stupid temporarily" other than just acting less intelligent.
