Is it normal that I'm having the braces on my upper jaw taken off?
I've been having braces for 14 months now, and my ortho told me that he would take the one on my upper jaw out first, and my lower jaw has to wait a little bit more. I thought normally they would take them all off at the same time. Does it sound normal?

Your top jaw and bottom aren't the same. It all depends on what's going on in there. My friend also had the same thing happen to him. It's normal :b

Yeah, it's normal. I am getting my top braces on a month or so before I get my bottom braces on. The ortho knows what he is doing so don't worry.
