How did you meet your partner ? Thanks?

I met him at a wedding! He wasn't my usual "type", but then again, my type hadn't been working out for me so far. My "date" (my flatmate) had ditched to drink with some guys, so he saw I was by myself and came to talk to me.

Since then, we've seen, texted or called each other every day, and we had our first wedding anniversary in October.

We were both 25 yrs. old. We met in line at a hot dog stand at 1AM. She was a nurse, just off duty. I was a chemist on my way home from a meeting. We sat and ate together, talked and laughed. I asked her if she would like to got out for a drink. She said she would love to but never went into bars in her nurse's uniform. We made a date for the following Sat. night. Had so much fun that we went straight through to Sun. night, a 28 hr. date. I was new in town (Chicago), she was born and raised on the west side. She offered to be my "tour guide" and we started hanging out 6-7 nights per week. 5 weeks later she proposed to me. We married 2 days later on a Chicago beach at sunrise over Lake Michigan, with friends, flowers, and a jug of Ripple wine. We just recently celebrated the 45th anniversary. 2 children and 5 grands and she still makes me laugh

We met 26 years ago at a high school football game and dated through my senior year. I left the state after my senior year, so we went our separate ways, married other people and had families. We both ended up divorced and reconnected on Facebook, met for coffee one night and have been inseparable since.

Well my ex now but at the time I had met her while I was playing a gig out at a bar, I guess it pays to be a guitar player.

i guess i'd always known him but our 6 to 7 year age gap made it difficult to actually know each other. when i was 18 my sister dated his best friend and she asked her bf to invite him so i wouldn't feel like a 3rd wheel. however i had already invited a current flame. luckily that guy didn't stay the whole night and i got to officially meet my now husband
