to sjpateja and others who might be tempted to think along those lines: the King asked Chavez ¨Why don't you keep quiet?¨ (¿pq no te callas?¨) because it was Chavez who was being rude and who kept interrupting President Zapatero of Spain during his turn. Chavez is a two-bit despot who is dismantling the democratic constitution in Venezuela to become its all powerful dictator. The newspapers in Spain are full of letters to the editor from EXILED Venezuelans thanking the King for his words. Chavez has made it impossible for many Venezuelans to live in their country. So it is NOT comparable to the Queen of England(or Prince Charles) telling the president of the U.S. to shut up. So far the president of the U.S. has not usurped powers or destroyed our democracy or exiled U.S. citizens. The day he goes that far I would hope that someone - be it the Queen of Spades or the King of the Mountain or the Prince of Darkness.,ANYONE!!! - would tell him to stuff it. I say,BRAVO for the King of Spain. Spain is lucky to have such a great constitutional monarch.
