Costs of Vietnam Visa for US Citizens?

Are you traveling directly to Vietnam ? If you will be in an adjacent SE Asian country before Vietnam, it is quicker, easier, and cheaper to get the Visa at that country's Vietnamese embassy.

To enter Viet nam from any country, you will need an Entry Visa. Here in the states, they are $30 for a normal one and (I think) $70 for a visa upon arrival. You would have obtained the normal one before you arrive in Vietnam and the arrival one you would pick up at the airport when you arrive. I'm not sure if the cost would equate in S Korea. You would need to obtain an application at the Vietnam embassy (Consulate).
