15 month old doesnt???????
So my daughter is 15 months old and will not sleep through the night. She never has! She gets up twice a night and takes a bottle. (we are working on getting her solely on a sippy cup) I have tried letting her cry it out but she will just continue to cry until she pukes and than I have a huge mess to clean up. I have also tried giving her a snack before bed thinking maybe she was getting hungry at night. I am looking for any suggestions to get her sleeping through the night! This momma is ready for a full nights sleep! Thanks!

Put water in her bottle when she wakes up. My son used to do that & we put water in his cup & he eventually figured out that even if he wakes up he's gonna get water an not milk it juice and he stopped doing it. Good luck

The doctors say that babies don't really sleep through the night, no matter what people say. It's just that some are able to sooth them back to sleep when they wake up. My granddaughter had one of those things with the fish that go around and it plays music. Sometimes I could hear her turn it on when she woke up-. She's watch it and go back to sleep. Try giving her a toy that she can turn on to play music or something- at 15 months old, she can have a toy stuffed animal in bed.

When it became obvious that my daughter was waking from habit ie barely drinking any milk and playing with it more than anything else I like the other answer switched to water and within a couple of nights she stopped however if she's drinking a lot you need to have a good look at her overall diet sometimes in the desire to be healthy we can get the balance wrong and not include enough fats.

what I did with my son is - he is on the schedule. Trying to give him bath and put to bed every day in this same time. He is 16 months now. About hour before he gets his bath I feed him baby cereal with about 3-4 oz of milk and then sometimes he gets yogurt. Hour later he gets his bath and then milk and bed. He sleeps through the night till like 7 am (he goes to bed about 8.30 pm) since he is 4-5 months old.
Good luck

The issue is not that she sleeps through the night, it`s that she can`t settle herself. She will sometime between 2-3. She may be hungry at night, but there is nothing you can do to make her settle herself except wait until she`s ready. If you need a full night`s sleep you`ll have to negotiate with someone else to take a night shift so you can sleep.
