I checked my I mac for virus or yahoo hacking?

However I think my yahoo account has been compromised. I do not want to change my scree name, but I changed my password. How can I know for sure the hackers have not compromised me?

Update:

To the idiots below that I gave a thumb down! I m a very technical individual. I know computers very well. And I too know what viruses are. So why are some of you jack rabbits such a$$holes? I'd rather have you not answer a question! Like my grand father used to say a long time ago"Think before you open your mouth! I know when something is fishy and my computer and yahoo Email is doing weired things. Also German internet has announced today, that there is a Trojan virus on the merge. Perhaps you fallows ought to read a little bit more!Yikes I hate ignorant people!

If your Yahoo account was compromised it had nothing to do with your Mac. Besides, there are no Mac virus in the wild yet.

Macs get viruses.....yet decrease than homestead windows. a recent trojan for Mac contaminated 600,000 human beings. even although, e mail debts being hacked are in all probability no longer the fault of the working device. be useful to no longer open suspicious emails.

First off, you wouldn't know the first thing about what a hacker is or does! Stop using tech terms unless you know what they mean. Secondly, it's more likely you either gave out your password, logged onto a public PC, or someone installed a keylogger on your PC. NONE of these probabilities involves hacking in any way, shape, or form.
