Aloe plants can be toxic if ingested in large amounts by animals, most animals actually avoid eating it if possible. However because of the Bearded Dragons diet, I think that the plant will be okay in the enclosure.

As for the jade plant, I have read up on it, and it is toxic if ingested by animals, and I am not sure about keeping it with your bearded dragon, but it may be okay. However the reptile might not like it because it is a desert animal and may prefer branches to leaves, I suggest choosing 2 plants at most for the enclosure.

Suggestion for plants- Any type of small palm type tree will be a great plant to keep in your reptiles tank.

(make sure all plants are pesticide free-)

Also they sometimes like to hide under branches or logs, baking these logs and branches will be required to place them in with your pet.

Any rock (bricks included to be safe) that is not poisonous(lead) or explosive like some minerals(sodium) should be fine in a reptiles enclosure as long as it is baked at 250 degrees for 45-60 minutes to kill all germs and bacteria.

    Good Luck-

(yes they are desert animals, but the Aloe- can be a desert plant ;)

I know a bunch of people will put cacti in their bearded's tank, but they make it so its on a shelf unreachable by the dragon. I think many succulents would work too, although the dragon might trample them. And I'm pretty sure the dragon won't care about plants being in its cage, it certainly won't be upset by them lol. Also if you want to be extra safe you could just buy a fake aloe plant, I've seen them around a lot.

not to sound rude but plants are suited for iguanas and chameleons not bearded dragons

they are desert animals and really dont enjoy plants repti vines add some color and they making a few silk plastic hanging plants and hammocks that are versatile

no plants good to know your giving him a large enclosure just dont add more than 1 in that tank they are solitary animals and often fight to the death if kept together dont go by youtube the tank setups are rigged for there videos
