Christmas Day 25th Dec - (Boxing Day is NOT another fiesta day here)
Thanksgiving doesn't exist here in Spain. Unless you are an american then you can celebrate if you wish.
Spains biggest celebrations are the 5/6th January - the 3 Kings and of course New Years Eve.
This holiday time the weather down here on the Costa del Sol has been the VERY best for years, I have had relatives over from the Uk, they went home on the 8th Jan with the most lovely sun tan!

1. The coldest ever temperature recorded in Spain was - 35 degrees centigrade. Today, the Canary islands are enjoying 19 degrees C this morning and here in Barcelona it is 12 degrees C.
2. Thanksgiving is not celebrated here ( except by people from the US). Christmas is a big celebration and goes on until the 5th January when the Three Kings give the kids their presents.

Weather in Spain is extremely variable.
Thanksgiving is an AMERICAN holiday. It is only celebrated in Spain by AMERICANS who are living there. (and even then, not everyone does).
Christmas is a CATHOLIC (and Christian) holiday. Christianity extends all over the world. Where there are Christians, Christmas is celebrated. (a clue: It was illegal to NOT be Catholic in Spain for the better part of the last 500 years).
If you want to know what the weather is going to be like, you go to a climate site, and input "Barcelona".

Re the weather, could you be a tad more specific?
The weather in AlmerÃa would be different to the weather in Bilbao.
Re celebrating Thanksgiving....do you celebrate El DÃa de la Constitución?
They're national holidays, celebrated in the respective countries.
Christmas is celebrated, much more so than in the US.
