Cancer treatments are exhausting.
For a normal person, your body repairs and replaces dead cells while you sleep.
In a cancer patient, they are undergoing treatment that kills cancer cells and a lot of normal cells as well, so their bodies need more sleep time to do repairs an replacement.

Yes. Chemo can make you feel like utter crap. Lung and liver cancers are very deadly types of cancers to get. Let her be. She will be going through a tough time.

No chemo therapy and the medication can cause drowsiness, also after chemo therapy, some people temporarily lose some of the hair but this eventually re grows, please see link for more information.

chemo causes a great deal of fatigue and makes people feel like crap.like flu only worse with achy joints and muscles, nausea and weakness.give your mother in law a break and have some compassion.also, each consecutive infusion makes you feel worse for a longer amount of time
