how many stores do you register at for your bridal registry?
Im having approx 200 guests at the wedding. I was thinking 4 stores; Pampered Chef, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target and Khols. Is that too many? Is there etiquette on this????

I'm not sure if it's an etiquette malfunction or not... but it's generally a good idea to use as few registries as possible. People aren't going to go wading through a zillion items on four different registries and you're not going to get everything on your registries anyway. I think it's just easier on guests to keep it to 2 registries.
That being said, there ARE some really cool new sites that offer a solution to this. I'm pretty sure even Amazon has a 'wish list' or registry type function. If you're dead set on registering at 4 stores, use one of those sites that allows you to have your items on all 4 registries listed together so that your guests only have to go to one place to get them all. The ones that want to shop in-store will still be able to see where to get them from and check them off of your registry, but that way you don't have to worry about whether or not it's bad etiquette AND you get to make things easier on your guests.

Just make sure you do not register for the same things at each store...example, do not register for a crock pot at all four stores...unless you want 4 crock pots. If you are registering for china....do this at only 1 store, same as towels ....you do not 2 bath towels from one place and two from some place else.

I don't know what the ettiquette is either but I'd say it's okay. I wouldn't go crazy and register for a bazillion things at each though. We're having 155 at our wedding and registered at Kohl's and Target.
