You should see a vet and find out why this is happening.

I hope it is okay for you!

Sounds like the eye is infected, if you do not seek out vet treatment for your cat. You might need to have your cat's eye surgically removed which will be a higher price to pay for both you and your cat.

Source(s): Seen many one-eyed cats because owners didn't bother seeking out medical care for their cat.

if it's just not opening it's eye and it's temporary, he may have gotten poked in the eye or something may have irritated it. if the eye is watery or yucky/goopy, or if the problem persists, take him to the vet because he may have an infection or real damage. it's not uncommon for cats to have herpes of the eye, and it can flare up at times. the vet can give you an antibiotic ointment to put in the eye if that is the problem.

Probably has soap in it. Or some other thing. Or maybe it's just stuck cus of goo or something. The soap thing is why my dog couldnt open up his eye all the way a while ago.

this could be one of two problems...

    1- it could be tired

2-it could have a lazy eye and need cat-glasses

    on the bright side..........

at least your cat is alive, i found mine dead in the washing machine,

    least it died in comfort
