Why do mannquins have nipples?

They don't need them and the show thru the clothes.

    I kno right lol. I think the only purpose would be if it was showcasing bras and showed how well they work or something.

    They do? I hadn't noticed. If they show through the clothes, then perhaps that is the designer's way of letting you know that if you wear those clothes, your nipples will show through too, and it will help you decide if that's a look you want to wear.
