When did Spongebob get bad and stop being funny?

I'm not sure the question is "when did he get annoying and stopped being funny" the question should be more annoying and less funny because he is still funny and has always been annoying but just got less funny and WAY more annoying and over the years i went from obsessed at 3-6 to I <3 SPONGEBOB at 7-8 to eh, i guess i like Spongebob at 9-now

I'm so damn sick of spongebob... the only episodes I watch are the old ones, and every chance I get I try and watch the old episodes like "Band Geek" and "Squidville" The only reason they keep making more is because Nick doesn't want to let the show go. Spongebob has basically become the mascot of Nick. Its the only show on there that they air for more than 16 hours a day. I hope that they stop spongebob soon. I mean its almost as old as me and I've grown up with it! but I don't want spongebob to still be airing new episodes when I'm 80. With 9 seasons and counting, I think that they've had a long run.It's really time for Nick to realize that this show is over a decade old, and they need to stop.

It got bad post 2007. They were hilarious up to 05', and really funny up until 07' then I don't know what happened but they made like 3 per week and it was all bad.

After 2004. The movie was SpongeBob's jump the shark moment. The show should've ended after that.

people say after the movie so 2007 i still really like the new seasons but to agree the best seasons are 1 2 and 3 ie pre movie seasons
