Cable converter thing (Please help!)?
Hello! I'm looking for a cable which goes from a standard yellow and red audio port in a stereo to a 3.5mm headphone jack. Does such a thing exist? And if so, how do I find it? Thanks for your help!

Are you hooking up something with video or just audio? Radio Shack, Fred Meyer, Staples, Best Buy and any number of small indy electronics stores even car audio stores should cary at least a 3 foot version of this cable. The color codes for audio left and right are red and white however, not yellow and red. If you need yellow that is a video signal and you will need yellow and white at the least for mono and yellow, red and white for stereo . Another was of asking for it would be to say I need a cable with a 1/8th stereo headphone jack on one end and male RCA plugs on the other.

What are you trying to set up? like an ipod connecting to a surround sound? If so, any electronics store will have it for $10, amazon will have it for $1. I used to work at BB. They will be in the tv section back by the surround sound receivers.
