No it is not legal because you are illegally playing a genuinely official purchased game, but they won't find out if you use a proper KeyGen. Everyone does it, they will never be able to stop it.

You can find them online on download sites, just as you can find the actual game to download (illegally) for free rather than paying for it in which most cases will come already cracked which will be install and play, or will come with a Key Gen, Install, use keygen and then play.

But I suggest if you like a game you credit the developers and purchase it.

You're not going to get a valid key for any game thst uses Steam authentication for one. Key generators aren't legal because obviously piracy isn't legal. You should've gotten Skyrim when it was on sale during the Steam holiday sale if you wanted it for cheaper. The reason a used copy would be so cheap is because it's pretty much worthless without a key, and Steam won't help you with used copies.

If you buy the game they will give you a key. Sorry, but getting the game without paying for it is dishonest. Also, using a key that you get off the internet can corrupt the game, since games now check to make sure the key is not being used by someone else.

What do you advise which you"were given" a CD key. Did you purchase/pay for it? What do you advise "appears felony?" that's the two a internet website illegally making cracks and keygen codes attainable (maximum possibly) or that's a legitimate website that enables you to purchase the game for obtain and grants the needed suggestion to play the game. So if you paid for it, that's felony. if that's a activity dispensed for unfastened by the organization that made it, that's felony. If a internet website is making a paid activity avialble for unfastened, that's no longer felony. trouble-free as that.

Illegal. But if its skyrim on pc then you have slim chance of getting caught bc its not online accessible. for example mmorpg like world of warcraft.

As far as I know they're illegal... Piracy :(
