I need the derivative of : y = e^x - e^-x?

The answer is supposed to be y' = e^x + e^-x

I want all the details please.

    D[e^x] = e^x

    D[e^u] = e^u * u'

    D[e^x - e^-x] = e^x - e^-x(-1) = e^x + e^-x
