can automatic cars be pushed to the side if they breakdown in middle of the road?

can you push it to the sideways in neutral position?

    you can't push any car sideways because the wheels would not allow that. however if you have the car in neutral you can push it and still turn the wheel it just won't have power steering.

    Neutral is where you put the transmission to push a car by hand.
