What metal bands can reproduce their music live?
Psycroptic practically plays perfectly live, wondering what other bands are bosses like them.
Metal isn't a "slew of power chords and all that easy to play". Psycroptic (as mentioned) is very technical and actually takes lots of technique and endurance to play and they play it very good live.
So what metal bands (that make fairly hard music and not just play powerchords) can reproduce their songs live?

It's not that hard to reproduce a slew of power chords. On the music difficulty scale, metal isn't overly complicated.

Meshuggah did incredibly well last time I saw them, and Opeth too.
on that note I just bought a live album by Orphaned Land and it's incredible, my favorite live album next to "Alive in Athens" by Iced Earth.
sounding good live really depends on the venue anyway, where I live there are some venues where bands sound bad at no matter what, and others where they always sound good.

My best bet would be Animals as Leaders. Unbelivably technical pieces played perfectly check out Wave of Babies, CAFO, and New Eden

Kataklysm does a really good job of reproducing their sound. Everything is super clear.
