dog and paws maltese?
my maltese poodle is 5y/o and recently constantly licks his paws. the vet told me it's ok and he might have a little anxiety?

Could also be allergies but if you have been to the vet and he said its ok you could start looking at behavioural things. Try putting something bitter on them to break the habit. There is a spay called wound gard that is a bitter deterrent to stop licking. Good luck

Dogs constantly lick their paws for tons of medical reasons
- Irritation
- Bacterial infection
- Fungal infection
- Mange
- Parasites
- Cut/injury
- OCD or neurological disorders that could cause weird behavior changes and actions
There is no way to be sure of what she has unless you take the dog to the Vet, He could have anything..and without a Vets diagnoses you'll never know.
