Can I make my make-up stay?

I always find that when I put make up on after an hour or so it's pretty much all come off. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

Yes! I use Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray and it works fabulously! It'll last for at least 16hrs and will look fresh all day.. http://www.urbandecay.com/all-nighter-makeup-setti... I It is really good stuff .

    Also...

Powder over foundation makes it stay a bit better.

Mascara almost always fades away or gets clumpy. (unless you're using expensive brands like Lancome, etc.)

If you want your eyeshadow to stay bright, use a primer first and a shiny coat over top of whatever color you use.

    Lipstick will come off regardless/eventually.

As a aesthetician and as a makeup artist, I WILL NEVER recommend anyone to use hairspray on your face. You will put toxins right on your face, gluing and clogging your pores, delivering far damage. SO DON'T DO IT! You can try a makeup primer, use a foundation and powder for finish. For the eyes, apply a bit of foundation on your lids, then use your "base" eyeshadow the layers you apply the longer it will stay. Apply waterproof mascara, and water proof eyeliner if desire for an all day, long lasting look. I hope this helps :)

i think it really depends on the makeup that is used...i sue dinair airbrush makeup and it stays on all day long and i dont have to retouch it or anything throughout the day...its the only makeup ive ever had that has done that...its amazing...i hope i helped =)

I agree with the first person, a light layer of hairspray actually does help, just hold it very far away lol ^^

orrrr you could use a primer? I use one and it preps the skin by making it smoooooth and makes foundation and blusher last longer.. you can also use it on your eyelids :)

or you could set everything with a loose pressed powder, i find this really helps.

i tend to find cheap makeup doesn't stay very long, so it would be helpful to know what you use :) hope i helped! ^^

Please could you answer mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqDNc...
