Do you support a 1.2 trillion debt cieling increase?

Its to stimulate the economy and allow access to funds but its adding to the already high national debt. What do you think?

in this situation, sadly, i do support it.

this is because it's to pay for things that we already purchased as a nation.

but there can be no doubt that we are a badly bloated nation, with very little will to look at where our money is being spent or even if it's being spent wisely.

we have over 900 military bases overseas, in hotspots such as italy and england.

we can't afford this anymore and i would guess that we could close 200 of them without changing our security status.

we vastly overpay for lots of things the govt does and no one seems to be willing to talk about this in any form - here are two examples we know of:

right now, as we speak, our military in afganistan is paying anywhere between $400.00 and $1,000.00 a gallon for fuel. a hummer gets filled with gas - $50,000.00 later, it pulls away with a full tank of gas.

say it with me - RIP-OFF!

right now, as i write this, medicare part d, is forbidden by law to bargain with drug companies for better prices, even though they are the largest single consumer of drugs in the nation. elsewhere, huge buyers get deep discounts, but no medicare.

say it with me - RIP-OFF!

these are two examples we KNOW of.

    imagine what we don't know.

literally every member of both parties is in on this monumental ripoff of the american taxpayer and no one seems to be interested in this or willing to do something about it.

not one lawmaker from either side or party has called for an audit of federal spending.

    not one.

these guys would rather lower our standard of living, lay off police, firefighters and teachers than even have an understanding of where our money is going.

both sides, both parties - we have the wrong kind of people running our nation...

Nope, not one more dime, as they do not spend this money to help the American people, but play Santa with it and give most away in foreign aid, or for more ways to kill people.

Just look a the amount we give away to Israel and other countries for aid, while our own homeless and hungry depend on contributions from the lucky few here that have enough to share with the needy, nope, not another dime.

None of the past money has stimulated the economy, so why should we expect anything different now?

The only proposals Obama has made to develop jobs, was all going as payback to the unipons for their support ,like road and bridge building, and almost all of this with imported materials.

Raising the ceiling doesn't add to the debt. It just makes it possible to. And, same as before. If we DON'T raise the debt ceiling, we default on our debt, and doom the country (and perhaps planet) into another Depression.

it's more proof GW almost really did start another Great Depression.

over 8 million jobs were lost under his watch.

Obama has already help create 3 million.
