how can i make friends?

i try all the time to make friends but it is hard to get people to engage in a conversation for any length of time or about anything substantial. all i get is a one sentence answer when i try to start a conversation , but these same peo-le will turn around and talk to someone else that they have know longer for really long time. How do i break the ice with people and get them to talk to me and be my friend.

Dont worry there are some tricks for that. First you have to learn some jokes and keep remember those jokes. If you meet any people you have to smile with them an say "hello how are you doing"? If it is a girl say "u look beautiful today. Then you can crack a joke and ask something that you can get a lengthy answer. always try to be smart and do some jokes as u can. Few times you may fail. But after several times I am sure u will get what you want. And read some news too. So u can suddenly discuss those things with them too. Use these methods . U will be fine.. Good luck.

well i have that problem too but i think it depends more on the kind of people u wanna interact or associate urself with.for instance, when it comes to making friends with girls,i stick to the smart or serious girls and stay away from the ghetto girls.before someone can hold a long conversation with u, there has to be something u guys have in common so just find people u can relate with and u need to try to befriend them anymore.hope it helps

    Good Luck!
