Indian airport customs allowance?

I am traveling to the UK for coupla weeks and on the way back I wanna bring back a few bottles alcohol. On the Indian customs website it says that duty is charged for "Alcoholic liquor and wines in excess of 2 litre each." Does this mean I can get 2 liters for wine and 2 bottles of liquor? Has any one brought more that 2 bottles of any kind of alcohol to India?

    You can get 2 liters of any wine or any liquor,

    Almost all leading brands are also available in air port Duty free shops like Mumbai

    Are you attempt to purchase an television from different countries ? From united statesA. To India ? make advantageous the television artwork in India till now than you purchase it ! custom accountability in basic terms isn't necessary hassle. television approach is extra significant !

    You get two litres duty free and will have to pay duty on the other two.
