if you can use a command prompt, then open it and navigate to your folder (using "cd"), then once you are inside the movies folder ,do this:

    dir /B > movies.txt

then look for that text file in your movies directory and you're set! :)

There is a built-in tool in Win 7 called the Snipping Tool. It is similar to, though not as powerful as, SnagIt.

Go to the Start button and type in snip. Open the Snipping Tool and highlight the area you want. You can put this snip into any type of doc including Word. The Snipping Tool does not allow you to snip anything not on the screen. In other words, you can not scroll through the area to snip a part of the list not presently on the screen.

click on initiate, click on Run and type in cmd press enter navigate to the folder containing the information for eg my computing device would have c:song filesmy song if the cmd on the spot is: c:records and settingsab86a1e1ef70dff9795967b723c5c24 then i might do right here: c:records and settingsme>cd c:>cd song information c:song information>cd my song c:song filesmy song> word the ">" image denotes the top of the path. In residing house windows explorer i might see "My song" as consistent with the final line, and the command on the spot will prepare: c:song filesmy song> cd -> bypass to root itemizing *(in this occasion it incredibly is c: cd <folder call> ability replace itemizing to <folder call> as quickly as on the folder you ought to record the contents of, type right here: dir >c:song.txt this might create a text cloth report on c: talked approximately as "song.txt", only open my pc bypass to community Disk (C:) and there it incredibly is. this might incorporate what you desire. For the occasion above, the finished line will look as follows: c:song filesmy song>dir >c:song.txt in case you have been to type "dir >c:tempmusic.txt", this will additionally create a temp folder, so the song.txt report would be recent in c:temp rather of only c: from the text cloth report, you may replica/paste as you desire - those are only very only, filenames - no longer something extra. wish that helps somewhat :)
