American knighthoods?

Many British actors and directors have been knighted and are "Sirs"-Ian Mckellan,Christopher Lee,Sean Connery,Alfred Hitchcock,Ridley Scott. Elizabeth Taylor, etcWhich US actors or directors would you so honour if the USA adopted the honours system, and why?PS-Spielberg is an honourary knight ,not "Sir "but a KBE.I suggest Hoffman,Spacey,Scorsese but what are your ideas?
