I have a bisexual South African friend. Well, he wants to marry both his girlfriend and boyfriend at...read on?

He wants to marry them both at the Church, and at the same time. He wants a threesome on their honeymoon. Is it legal for such a wedding and are bisexual allowed in South Africa? He wants a female best man or should I say best-woman. He also wants girls as his 'flower girls' lol. That has always been his dream. Do you think he will be thrown in jail if he does that in South Africa or should he just follow my advice and go get married in Iran?

Update:

I mean boys as his flower girls...Sorry

Polygamy is legal in South Africa ONLY when both parties are from an idigenous African culture and when the marriage service and suchlike is carried out according to traditional cultural rites. Given, this, both parties must actively practice their culture and not merely identify with it through descent.

LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual) marriages are also legal in South Africa. They must be carried out in terms of normal civil procedure if they are to be valid and binding. In other words, the law that govern LGBT marriages are the same that govern monogamous, heterosexual marriages that are entered into in terms of civil law (English and Roman Dutch) and not in terms of African customary law. This is because LGBT weddings are not recognized as valid under customary law. Unless your friend can convince the courts otherwise, he cannot continue with his plans.

LBGT are legal in South Africa

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_by_countr...

If a marriage includes multiple husbands and wives, it can be called group marriage, although in the above case it is one husband and 2 spouses; polygamy, the practice or condition of having more than one spouse.

In South Africa, traditionalists commonly practice polygamy. The president, Jacob Zuma is also openly in favour of plural marriages, being married to three wives himself. He has a total of twenty nine children with these and four previous wives.

So, considering the above, it would be tolerated by the law, but definitely not by the Christian Church. My opinion.

for many place to be seen a marriage you will might desire to have the criminal ceremony with the companion of the different intercourse and the 0.33 person can witness it. Then have a hand quickly or comparable ceremony this is merely as binding interior the eyes of God/Goddess yet not seen a criminal association. So on paper you're married to a minimum of one, in faith married to the two. or merely have a non classic faith bases ceremony and not a criminal one and you could all 3 be married at one. merely you will possibly get not one of the criminal/government reward of being married. BTW if this is all you needed then you definately shouldn't get married interior the 1st. might you all be blessed.
