Today is Squirrel Appreciation Day. Anyone appreciated a Squirrel today?

Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes^infinity yes!

I like to declare standing atop the tallest tree a squirrel may reach:

"I adore & APPRECIATE my lovable Scooter_The Squirrel_Agent. :)"

I particularly appreciate this darling Squirrel here everyday, ever & always.

I have a confession to make.

Were I live in Scotland, grey squirrels are the enemy because they infect the native red squirrels with a disease they themselves are immune to. And because I once reported a sighting of a grey a few years ago, I was initiated into the Secret Squirrel Police and issued with traps, rubber gloves,scalpels pipettes, little bottles, jiffy bags and the address of a laboratory I am supposed to send blood samples to of any squirrels that I have caught and killed.

I couldn't do that. I did trap one once, but I took him down the valley to a village where I know he would have plenty of friends, and let him go.

I appreciate squirrels EVERY day! :)

I love to watch them climb the trees, run across fences, stand on their hind legs to look around, fill their little cheeks to look bloated and all that good stuff! lol

I even stop driving when a squirrel stands in the middle of the street, undecided on which way to go. lol

Yes, Squirrels need appreciation as well. One of the things I have liked about you Mr. A. Squirrel, is that you stand by your friends, you ask questions, that anyone can answer for the most part. That you treat others with kindness... and we need especially the 'kindness' factors... but the food questions, are cute, I had no idea, someone could think of so many...:) Harmless and fun!

lol I didn't know there was such a thing, I did throw some bread out for the birds and squirrels the other day

The squirrels are hiding right now because it snowed.

I appreciate my happy little tree rats with huge amounts of seeds, nuts and other foods.

I like to see them get fat and juicy and plump to the point that they are as big as a housecat.

I get a kick out of watching them trying to climb the tree with their fat little bodies and finally give up and fall asleep on the ground in a nut induced coma.
