Will my laptop be able to run PC games?

for 550 you will not be able to find a laptop to play GTAIV or MW3.

the problem is that laptops get expensive when you want them for gaming, you will be able to get a desktop PC (just the tower) that would handle those games on low/medium settings, but a laptop wont.

Intel HD graphics are a nightmare also, they might be upto scratch for some games, but most games will not be compatible with the GPU.

If you can extend your budget, then go for Alienware or Toshiba Qosmio series

Highly doubt it...You'll probably be able to scape low settings with smooth gameplay on SOME games

I'm not a expert but I'm pretty sure you can play any game made for PC on it. I have a Dell and I play my Farcry perfectly ! Now if it doesn't work, that's different.

500GB is a lot, but i3 is not very good, it will be laggy
