If she likes BBQ, I know of no place better than Jack's Stack. There are several in the greater KC area. Check the phone book for the one most convent for you. If she likes a great steak I recommend Jay Alexander's.(Just over the state line in KS) approx. 119& Metcalf Those steaks cooked over a hard wood fire are something special. The atmosphere is great and the prices are high, but you seem to be willing to pay for it. You will never regret taking good care of your Mom. She won't be around forever.

I am a mom, and a huge Cheesecake Factory fan. There is nothing there that isn't out of this world, the atmosphere is lovely, and you have such a selection for dessert! That is the #1 place I would want to go, if given a choice.
