Low fat milk in Hispanic grocery stores?
Why is it that in every Hispanic grocery store that I've been in, there is no Low-fat nor Fat-free milk?
I've been in El Super, King Ranch, Marketon, Las Compadres, La bonita, Cardena's, Liborio etc and none of them have fat-free milk..... Why ???
thanks
edit:
No Penny, I am really curious - when I lived in Mexico, any kind of milk was a rarity.
But here out west, I have only seen 2% and whole (3%) milk - no fat-free.
Also, I don't ever remember seeing .5% - thanks for the info *__*

Perhaps in that part of town it is known as skim milk or 0, 1 or 2% fat milk. I know I can get it in all the small local spanish grocers in NYC. I hope this isn't some form of trolling race related bigotry.
