This is an excellent question, but it could be more precise. Does "conflict" mean mental, physical or moral? And "conflict" is different from "problem." There is probably more than one answer to the question, depending on how it is defined, but as a writer working on a book about Jane Goodall and morality, I believe the greatest challenges that Goodall faced were getting people to accept the personhood of apes and getting people to accept our moral responsibility for them.
