scared of not being depressed?
i think i might be depressed..here is why i think so:
.i don't have the drive to do daily activities (showering, cooking/eating, talking to people, studying)
i don't fall asleep for more than 3-4 hours at night...but i spend it lying down feeling pointless/burned and i don't want to get out of bed even though i don't feel like i'm resting while in bed...it just feels like a conviniant place to be apathetic.
any period of happiness and determination to plan my life (from half an hour to a few days) follows a peroid of crashing...hating myself...being apathetic....feeling like nothing matters..etc. and just feeling awful
with all this...i'm scared to go to the doctor in my university..( i live in dorm by the way)...
i'm scared of being deluded or drugged into mediocre bliss....i don't want to lose me.....

Go see your doctor. Depression is a real health issue, and needs to be properly diagnosed and treated. If the doctor thinks you could be helped with medication, you should consider that. The meds won't result in 'false' happiness - rather it makes the symptoms of depression more manageable, so that you have the drive and energy to go do the things that make you happy.
