NBC's Smash, wasnt on TV last year (2011)?
I dont know of this is some serious deja-vu...but I could swear I saw the same advertisements for Smash on tv last year, saying that it was a brand new series...and I swore I saw it on a tv channel when flipping through channels. But everyone keeps saying its new...Am I alone in this thought? Does anyone remember seeing ads dor this show last year or maybe watched it?

The show has never aired yet, but it's been talked about for a while so you probably did hear of it last year when they picked it up. It's being touted as the next Glee and there was a lot of buzz around it.

Smash was initially supposed to start in the Fall 2011 season so there were many ads for it on television last year in preparation for that. It was changed to mid season instead and the show doesn't air until February 6th. It has never aired on television before but you can watch the Pilot online here
