Do you sometimes forget that teachers are people too?

I don't mean any disrespect to teachers at all, it's just that after a while they just seem like a whole different species. On the outside, they may appear human but how they act in the classroom changes their real character as a person I think because I know that teachers don't really act the same way they do in class as they do in regular society. And it always shocks me when the teacher can break away from their teacher persona for a second and show actual human emotions other than disapproval and giving calculating looks. I don't know what it is that makes me think that teachers aren't just regular people and act the same as anyone else because I do know they are regular people, I just forget that factor or I can never see past them being a teacher and having a life outside of school. Does anyone else ever feel this way?
