Why does it take forever to get to the POST screen on my laptop?
So I have this Lenovo x200 laptop. The first time I was able to flash the bios and it worked fine after that, but until recently the computer froze and started doing the same thing over again. When you press the power button, it sits there for like 15 minutes and then it gets the the POST screen and everything starts up normal. I did some poking around on the internetz and some said that the BIOS would need a flashing, or yank out the CMOS battery.
I was wondering, could it be that the CMOS battery is dying and needs to be replaced?
If not, is it the BIOS? If so, how do I downgrade so I can just flash the BIOS?
Answers, Tips, Suggestions, Helpful hints or a fix it explanation would be great :D

This site will help http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/explore... I do not think it is in the bios. A bad bios battery will show up as the computer having the wrong date and time...
To get a good accurate answer give the brand, model number, installed operating system of the laptop when asking a question as all PC's are not the same. Hey, I enjoyed your question, I have worked as a technician most of my life, I hope I have helped you...
