Scary dream help me please? What did it mean?
In the dream I was attending my mothers funeral ( she passed away 13 years ago in real life. While I was standing around the coffin a guy from my past we will call him Peter well he was holding my hand in the dream and telling me I would be fine. So we were driving to my old house the one where I grew up in and it was on a dirt road and looked apocalyptic around us so we flew into the house and I went into the backyard to get something and it turned into the recess area of my elementary school and I saw my friend Henry who I had not seen in about 14 years it was creepy. So I walked back to my house and i went in through the back door and when I got in and closed it a demon yes a creepy looking dressed in all black and ugly looking was trying to get in my house telling me he was going to take Peter. I then woke up.
In real life I am married so I do not know why this happened in my dream.

Dreams are essentially expressions of your subconscious pieced from memories (new, old, or repressed) and emotions. Dreams are difficult to interpret by a third party since a dream has more meaning to the observer and the current events of his or her life. They may also be a jumbled up mess as the mind accesses different memory "banks" that could be memories of life or movies or imaginings.
In an attempt to decipher your dream, it may be that you are worried about your husband leaving you.Your mother has left you in her passing. Henry from school left you when you two lost connection. Now a "demon" threatens to take away this "Peter." The "demon" could be anything: work, death, another woman, etc. Peter, Henry, and your mother represent loss. Essentially, you are worried that a person you hold dear will leave you. I am presuming that this is your husband.
Like I said, this is a guess. You should also be aware that dreams may have no meaning, similar to mental projections during hallucinations caused by illicit drugs.

Did you see a cactus in this dream? If so it may be signs of depression or boredom.
