Connecting gaming console to PC Monitor help?
I want to connect my Xbox 360 (as well as my PS3) to my HD computer monitor, and I understand that I could use the VGA/HD AV cables to do it.
However it seems much more simple to me to just use the HDMI port on the back of the monitor instead of using the converter, and I already have an HDMI cable I wouldnt have to go out and buy the converter.
Are there any issues with just connecting my 360 to my monitor using the HDMI port?

Nope, no issues at all, HDMI would be the best way to do it anyway. You get the best quality of picture and don't have to mess around with the cabling at all. This is what I do for Xbox LAN's with my 26" display. Works perfectly.

it ought to paintings purely effective! =) I did similar ingredient with my PS3. Hooked PS3 as a lot as HDMI port and left my pc to my VGA port. I toggle backward and forward from show screen settings to pass to the only i choose.
