I recently compared Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo running on my PC to the same demo running on my 360, and the PC version is running WAY BETTER and looks a ton better on my pc. I know the game is available on Steam, but I prefer to actually own a physical copy of the game so I would like to buy the actual boxed product from a retailer.

My question is, can I link the physical copy of Kingdoms of Amalur to my Steam account and still have access to all of the features I would have if I bought it right off Steam (Steam achievements, community etc.)?

I want to connect my Xbox 360 (as well as my PS3) to my HD computer monitor, and I understand that I could use the VGA/HD AV cables to do it.

However it seems much more simple to me to just use the HDMI port on the back of the monitor instead of using the converter, and I already have an HDMI cable I wouldnt have to go out and buy the converter.

Me and my girlfriends anniversary is coming up in a few months and we are arguing about who should be the one to plan our night. She believes it is the mans duty, while I believe it should be a combined effort. Is it a socially stigmatic thing for the man to plan the anniversary?

I just bought Mario Kart 7 for 3ds and I noticed that the game does not prompt u to select a save file or profile before u begin playing. I am not going to be the only person in my household who is going to be playing the game and we dont all want to share the same file, this pretty much cuts the grand prix mode in half because more than 1 person is sharing progress, and we will also be sharing the same online profile/status.

Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Wii both had multiple save files, I want to know if there is any way for 2 people to have seperate profiles within Mario Kart 7.

I recently purchased the Conjure Flame Atonarch (or w/e) spell and the first time I tried casting it worked just fine, my familiar floated around the battlefield and helped me fight.

However, now I just cannot seem to get it to cast. I hold down the cast button and the conjuration animation begins, and my magicka even goes down to where it should be after the cast is complete. But as soon as I let go of the button to complete the cast my character just stops, no familiar in sight, and I get all my magicka back.

This is probably a very stupid question, but what is going on and how exactly do u conjure familiars?

I routinely get a shift at my place of work that starts at 4am and typically ends at either 8am, 11am, or 12pm. This shift involves unloading a large transport truck of supplies for the store. There are 2 stores in my area and 1 of the 2 people working this shift needs to drive over to the 2nd store and unload all of their stuff as well.

However, being the person to unload the 2nd store usually means you are staying at least until 12pm, sometimes up to an hour later. This week my schedule read that I am working 4am-11am, and my manager said I was going to be doing both stores.

My question is, when 11am rolls around can I just go home, or do I have to finish the entire 2nd truck? There was no agreement between me and my manager/employer that I would be staying as long as it takes to get it done, and I never consented to anything of that nature. Can they just make me stay even though I am not scheduled for another hour?

I have an Alienware Aurora R-2 and its about 4 months old now. It still has all components it shipped with and it performs admirably on most demanding games. However, I am a bit confused as to some thigns. For example, I can play Mass Effect 2 with all graphical setting bumped right up to full with no chugging or framerate drops at all. BUT, when I play a game that uses a much older graphics engine such as WoW, the game sputters to a measly 10-15 fps with everything on ultra. WoW is nowhere near as graphically demanding as Mass Effect 2 yet I cannot play it on any setting other than mid. Whats going on here?

As u can see, the specs required for Mass Effect 2 are much greater than WoW, yet I can play Mass Effect no problem on all maxed graphical settings, but my comp sufferd horribly when playing WoW on any setting higher than mid. I dont get it. The same thing applies for Rift, which again is not has hard on the PC as Mass Effect 2 is and I ahve the same problem.

I understand in the 18 century (I think) most women depicted in painting and other works of art from the time were overweight. When did it become more desireable to have a smaller figure to model?

I know that if u are playing with an online battle net character u can create a new game and kill any of the bosses as much as u want as long as u dont graduate urself into the next difficulty level. What I want to know is can u do that as well in single player? I only want to play single player atm and before moving onto the nightmare difficulty I want to run Diablo a couple of times for XP and drops, but I'm not sure if u can do that in single player and I want to know before I get too far in the game.

The only thing I really dread about going to work is how sore my feet get after a few hours of standing (sometimes after the weekend my feet will get really sore after only 2 hours on the job!) Are there any really effective ways to prevent my feet from being so sore while I work? I have to be there 8 hours a day, and my feet are killing me before my shift is even half over. I have to wear footwear issued by my employer so a change of shoes isnt an option.

I recently got a new PS3 system after my old one broke. I synced my trophies and transferred all info from the old PS3 to the new one. HOWEVER, I forgot the password to my PSN account so now I can't get my trophies from my PSN account to my new PS3 until Sony sends me my new password via email. I've been holding out on playing GoW 3 for a long time now, and I can't wait any longer. Will the trophies I earn now still "count" after I get my old trophies back?

My PS3 recently cacked on me so I got a new one today. I've deactivated my PSN account and transferred all data to the new PS3, including the PSN account. I synced my trophies before the transfer so they should be linked to my PSN account. HOWEVER, I forgot my PSN password and am currently waiting for Sony to send me a new one thru email. As of right now my new PS3 says I have no trophies, will I get them all back the first time I log onto PSN on my new PS3?

I have Sonic the hedgehog and Golden Axe, both are part of Sega's "Vintage" series of Xbox Live Arcade games. I payed for them both in full, I even have acheivements for both of them (something you can't get unless you have the full version), but everytime I start them up it asks me to unlock to full version to play the whole game. When I go to download the full version again the same thing happens. I have never changed by HDD and I'm using the very same gamertag as I always have.
