Santorum needed to not comment to this woman so he could reinforce her fantasy. This is the only way he can get votes. Now back to reality......Santorum doesn't stand a chance of winning this nomination. Sooner or later, he will wind up like Bachman and Perry: Voted off the "island". As for this woman who thinks we shouldn't call PRESIDENT Obama, President because he is a Muslim or whatever nonsense she is spouting because she is still mad that he won the election back in 2008: PRESIDENT OBAMA IS GOING TO GET REELECTED! Even if I didn't like PRESIDENT Obama I still want him reelected just to know how much it is going to upset this woman and remind her how little power she has no matter how many tea party meetings she goes to or how much she donates to Sarah Palin, or whichever con-artist has taken her place at the head of the line to fleece these people out of their $ by making them think that they will somehow "win America back". What a racket these people have going on. At least John McCain, to his credit, shot back at the woman who made similar claims. God forbid a Santorum or Gingrich, or any Republican president. ><

I think she believes what she's been told, and as you can see by some of the answers here so do some others. I think Santorum was embarrassed, although I despise his politics of imposing his religious views on everyone, he said he didn't correct her because she was elderly.
I wish my kids felt that way.
In any event I think even he was uncomfortable with such nonsense and just wanted to go on.
While you can't blame a candidate for someone who calls into a radio station while the candidate isn't there, you can reasonably ask why such a blatant untruth should be overlooked.
Last time out McCain snapped back at someone pushing the same line and let them know he felt that was ridiculous. Maybe Santorum just can't handle a difficult situation?

The woman is 100% correct. Obama IS an avowed Muslim and is not really the President. He's a Socialist Muslim that wants Sharia Law in America.

I think with gifts like her & the republicans being hypocrites, Obama could site home & put his feet up & smoke a pipe, read the paper on his laptop & pet Bo & not have to leave that comfty chair. Let the republicans campaign & spend all that money cause it does help the economy everytime a republican puts gas in their car to go see one of the hypocrites.

He agrees, his parents forgot to tell him he is mentally challenged as a child and Rick thought being in special education class meant he was supposed to lead the world because he was so special.

What? I'm sorry, is that a question, a question just for 'Rich' Santorum, or a very hard to understand statement?

I thought all those people were in padded rooms.
I'd love to hear her views about religion.
What a gas.

Go and check for yourself, he is a Muslim and he was born in Kenya, any idiot can find it out. She is correct in what she said.

The same woman will tell you how Obama sat listening to Rev. Wright for 20 years in a Christian church. Republicans ignore facts.
