What to drink when fasting?
My brother is going to fast for 36hrs starting tomarrow. What liquids should he drink.
Lol thanks for the answers he's just fasting just to do it no religious or physical reason. I guess its more like a cleanse and I thought it might be a good idea to drink something so he doesn't get bad headaces or cramps or so he doesn't gets cranky.

If it is a medical test or procedure read all instructions he may have been given.
Water is good. Electrolytes are important. Stir a teaspoon of sea salt into a glass of water. Simmer green vegetables (any combination os green beans, celery, summer squash, parsely) chopped fine in water for twenty minutes. Strain and drink. Coconut water. Chicken broth. Diluted fruit juice. Kefir or diluted yoghurt.
Go easy on caffeine, sugar, sweeteners,
Be careful with milk. If he is very hungry he could drink too much and make himself sick.
I'm sorry you got unpleasant answers from people who didn't stop to wonder why this question went to "Ramadan". (Ramadan is a Muslim holiday season when Muslims fast dawn to dusk to become better people. Sometimes it works.)

Salam During fasting we Muslims are not allowed to eat and drink any stuff We have mandatory fasting during ramadan only for 30 or at least 29 days We have no fasting more than the maximum 30 days We usually drink fresh water or milk or fruit juice after we break our fasting on the sunset
