In Sims 3, how do I create a new family?
I have a primary family (girl triplets) that I've been playing as my primary household. Now I want to create a new household of males and I can't figure out how to create them. How do I do that without deleting my previous household?

When you start up the game on the main menu screen you should see a plus sign. Click it and it let's you choose a neighborhood and create a new family

At the menu where it shows your saved games, there will be a button saying Start New Game". Click on that, and it will ask you if you'd like to move in household or create sims. Moving in a household will not get rid of how you had the family on a different saved game. But if you're looking to create sims, then just hit "Create sims" and right away, you'll be making a new sim family.

go to the neighborhood screen, and on there click on the house you want, and press move household in or create the sim family you want and move them in that specific house

Go to Options, And click Edit town, You can then make a family and place them in a house in your neighborhood.
PS; If you want to put them in an expensive house from the get- go type in freerealestate
and click on a house that's available
