Does anyone know about King Leo?

How great is this to be on the front covers of the world famous magazine Time? I loved the way the title goes - but at the same time I am so disappointed and shameful on Time USA not post him on the main cover. The latter is an utter disappointment specially when you know Football.Soccer is played in US and there are millions of fan.

Comments or critics about King Leo and Time US not going to put him on the cover

So bad!!! Time is based in the United States, so all the other magazines to me mean little. TIME is one of America's best magazine companies. Nothing against "the power of Shyness", but Leo is an example of that anyways. He's reserved off the pitch, yet a beast on the pitch. It just shows that America doesn't really appreciate football, or Messi, even if Messi won the World Cup, I doubt he would be on the cover. Some guy on facebook (who's not my friend) said it wasn't important, LOL, everyone in the world knows about Messi, people need to stop being ignorant of the rest of the world.

Sorry but I disagree with US male Soccer (the only country that calls that way to the most popular sport in the world) not football has never been popular in North America, even doing the 1994 world cup wasn't the impulse US Soccer needed MLS appeared as an strong league but went to bankruptcy. US always invert to do anything at that respect has paid millions to Beckham contract as a marketing tool to catch more fans but it didn't happen.....the same more time ago when it was other league and seduced Pele to go there to play for the Cosmos team, that team went around the world with Pele but I want to know how many US fan soccer know about it...

It seems that US soccer it just made for female to be played. Latin immigration has done also some steps up to make it a more professional league, prolly it is more professional but this didn't mean that it would have more fans.

On the other side Leo Messi it is for sure one of the best player on history but it doesn't have a great marketing punch on people like Ronaldinho prolly had and as I said US people doesn't care much about soccer male talent.

Are you serious dude, why the fvck would TIME magazine put a footballer on the cover? TIME magazine is for influential people who makes a difference in the world. Not for footballers. Putting Messi or any footballers would significantly decrease most peoples opinion of the magazine.
