How can I get on PGCE course for Japanese if I don't have a Japanese degree?

I would like to become a Japanese teacher and would like to apply on the PGCE Japanese course. I have a BA but not in Japanese. I have JLPT N2 and 5years teaching experience in Japan. What can I do, besides getting a Japanese degree, to be eligible and be in with a good chance to apply for this course.

    If you are fluent in Japanese you could probably take an exam to prove you can do the work.
