Buying first laptop not sure what to get?

Intel HD 3000 cards in addition to a good processor and [atleast] 4GB of RAM will run minor games well on some machines..

The AMD has a low speed, but has 4 cores. I don't prefer AMD. Intel is better.

The Dell you're looking at for $650 - I'm pretty sure it has a minimum 4 gigs of RAM. Also it should have an Intel i5 core processor. Get this notebook if that's the case.

the speed is fine,it is a quad core,which makes up for its slightly lower processor speed, the a6 has a dedicated gb graphics card and is superior then the i5 in several ways. first it is an apu,advanced processor unit. that means the processor and graphics card share the same physical space but operates independently. that means the operate more efficiently and use less energy which saves heat stress and allows for a long battery life. the a series came out a few months ago and so far intel doesnt have an apu.

hp palvion dv7 500 gig and 5gig RAM i have this its super fast and has a webcam the screen is 17 inch and its not a fat laptop it like 2 years old but it does not look old it was 1100$ 2 years ago but you can buy a new one off the internet there great my friend bought a laptop for 300$ it was 250 gig and 1 gig ram and it is so slow if im not it i want to shoot it look on some sites
