Should Yahoo Answers conserve leading spaces?

Wouldn't it be nice if Yahoo answers conserved leading spaces and tabs so that code posted in a question would be more readable?

I think we should be able to at least use some simple html tags like <ins>, <b>, and <code>.

    Why?

YA was designed for a wide range of questions on multiple subjects to be asked and then answered by the "General Public".

The design is for text questions and text answers.

Just because you want to ask a question in one or two topics and have a specific request, you want special treatment. Is that fair?

In actual fact there are far better places to place code samples, that can then be linked to within YA thus keeping to the design and allowing you to concentrate on giving as much detail as possible to your question. Saving space on the YA database at the same time.

    Have fun.
